Pride in Town: Fearless in the Heart of Antwerp
St. Andrew’s Square once again serves as the backdrop forPride in Town, an evening where connection, dialogue, culture, and entertainment come together. Here, the values of Antwerp Pride become a tangible part of everyday city life, and everyone has the opportunity to reflect together on diversity, inclusion, and solidarity.
The theme“Fearless”runs like a common thread through the program. At a time when the rights and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people are under pressure worldwide, Pride is more than just a celebration. It is a call to dare to be visible, to stand up for yourself and for others, and to work together to build a society where everyone can be themselves.
Pride in Town brings that message literally to the heart of Antwerp and invites everyone—from the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to casual passersby—to listen, discover, engage in conversation, and celebrate together.
A stage filled with music, poetry, ballroom dancing, performance art, and inspiring stories
The evening will be hosted byFleur PieretsandKirsten Van Teijn, who will guide the audience through a diverse program filled with music, performances, and inspiring encounters.
With two musical performances, theAntwerp Queer Choirsets the tone for an evening centered on connection.
Ballroom culture takes center stage with an impressive performance byRamses,Lilith Xclusive Lanvin, andDizzy Vineyard. Through their creativity, expression, and powerful presence, they pay tribute to a culture that has served as a safe haven and a source of empowerment for the LGBTQIA+ community for decades.
A special artistic moment will be provided bycity poet Esohe Weyden, who wrote a poem about inclusion specifically for Antwerp Pride and Het Roze Huis Antwerpen. Together with the Belgian-Brazilian composer and singerHelena Casella, she will bring this work to life in a unique and memorable way. Helena Casella will then take the audience on a journey with a selection of her own songs that center on music, emotion, and connection.
ZINNOwill also take the stage with a musical performance. With a mix of original songs and surprising covers, he delivers a warm, authentic performance that perfectly aligns with the message of Fearless: daring to be yourself.
DJ Vini & Lola McQueenbring an exuberant dose of glamour, Brazilian vibes, and festive energy with*The Royal Affair*, a colorful show that transforms Sint-Andriesplaats into one big party.
The evening wraps up in style with an energetic DJ set byKRSCTRL, resident DJ atLSBN GRLS. With her infectious beats, she’ll get Sint-Andriesplaats moving one last time and bring Pride in Town to a festive close.
