Antwerp Pride is made up of volunteers—it’s thanks to them that the city’s most colorful event comes to life. Want to join our team? Then you’ve come to the right place!
We currently work with a fantastic team of about 400 volunteers. But motivated people who are eager to contribute to Antwerp Pride are, of course, always welcome—and more than welcome! After all, Antwerp Pride exists thanks to the tireless dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers: working the bar, selling tokens at the ticket booth, passing out drinks, escorting the parade, welcoming the crowd, selling merchandise…
Don’t ask what Antwerp Pride can do for you, but what you can do for Antwerp Pride.
How does it work?
Sign up using the Crew Tool
For our volunteers, we use a convenient online tool where you can choose your own shifts and find all the necessary information and briefings.
Once you've signed up, you can easily search for a job that suits you and immediately see which shifts are available. You can take your time scrolling through the listings and even select multiple shifts if you'd like.
The bars are also clearly organized and numbered, so you can easily choose the same spot with your friends and have a great weekend together.
Come as a group
Would you like to come and help behind the bar as a group—with your family, friends, or coworkers? Would you like to work together behind the same bar? Do you have a great group of coworkers who’d like to come help out at Antwerp Pride as a team-building activity?

How do you roll up your sleeves and get to work?
We’re looking for lots of volunteers to help with our various activities. How would you like to lend a hand?
Setup & Teardown
In the days leading up to and the day after the festival weekend, you’ll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look. You’ll roll up your sleeves alongside a lot of other people to set up and take down the festival grounds and the Crew/Artists office. During these days, we’ll be putting up temporary fencing, stocking fridges, hanging up signage, and setting up tables and chairs. Physical work for everyone in a super fun atmosphere.
Parade steward
As a steward, you will ensure that the parade proceeds safely while it is being set up. All parade participants will be directed to their correct positions (float, order, etc.). Once the parade is underway, a steward will walk between each float to ensure that the procession moves smoothly.
Love United & Closing Festival
We need a lot of volunteers for these events. You can also sign up for multiple shifts on those days. You’ll experience the festival in a unique way, together as part of a large group. Some volunteers will staff the ticket booths. Others will work at the bar, pouring drinks, serving customers, and restocking supplies. A team of general volunteers will handle all sorts of support tasks and step in wherever needed.
We are still looking for volunteers for: our bar, the ticket office, admission control, security, ushers, reception & hospitality…
