Antwerppride.com is the digital representation of Antwerp Pride Vzw, with its registered office at Draakplaats 1, 2018 Antwerp. This digital representation is referred to in this Privacy Policy as "this Website" or "Site".
The term“AP Network”refers to Antwerp Pride Vzw, its affiliated organizations, and its associated entities.
Antwerp Pride Vzw is the entity within the AP network that operates this Website and is hereinafter referred to as“Antwerp Pride,”“AP,”“we,”“us,” or“our.” Although parts of this Image Rights Policy may refer to other entities within the AP network, this Image Rights Policy applies only between you and us and not between you and those other entities.

CCTV surveillance at our festival grounds is conducted in accordance with local laws.

Crowdsourced photos and videos taken by individuals during one of our events, projects, or contests

The recordings made and published are primarily used for communication, promotional, and security purposes related to Antwerp Pride.

If you are not the main subject of a photo, based on the right to take candid shots
If you are the main subject of a photograph, by posing for it
At the festival grounds
By entering the Love/United & Closing Festival grounds, you consent to the use of these images by the AP Network and its partners.
CCTV surveillance at the Love/United & Closing Festival is conducted in accordance with local CCTV regulations. These recordings are used solely for security purposes during the Festival and will not be disclosed to third parties, except to the competent authorities upon receipt of a formal request.
Disclosure of information to third parties
In connection with its purposes, AP may share your data with, among others:
Media and distribution channels (television broadcasters, newspapers, websites, radio stations, social media, printing companies, etc.)
For communication and promotional purposes
The audience
Data storage services (e.g., Google Workspace / Google Drive)
For archiving and internal processing purposes
Courts and police departments

Your Rights
Since this concerns your data, we believe it is important that you be able to review your personal information at any time. You therefore have certain rights, which you may exercise in accordance with the terms and conditions of European privacy legislation.

Right of access
You have the right to access your personal data. This means you can check what information we have about you.

You have the right to have your data corrected. We may have information about you that is incorrect or no longer accurate. We kindly ask you to notify us if your personal data has changed so that the information in our databases remains as accurate and complete as possible.

Data Retention
All recordings made in connection with our events, projects, or competitions will be retained indefinitely in our archives. The data used in those recordings will therefore be retained indefinitely.
Other (personal) data related to your participation in our recordings or those of others will not be retained for longer than is necessary for the intended purpose.
Access to data
Individuals who wish to exercise their aforementioned rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) should contact the Antwerp Pride Data Protection Officer via the contact form. Select “Privacy” as the subject and submit your request in the “Message” field. In all cases, we process requests for access to or correction of data in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations.
In addition, you may also politely express your objection directly to the person taking the photos on the day of the event.
If you believe that our handling of your objection does not comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may always file a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Belgium, this is the Data Protection Authority. You can find more information about this on their website.
Information Security
We have in place reasonable technological and operational security measures to protect all information provided by visitors through this Website from disclosure to, or access, alteration, or destruction by unauthorized persons.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time at our discretion. When we make changes, we will update the revision date listed above, and the updated or modified version will apply to you and your data as of the revision date. Protection of Children's Privacy

We do this, among other things, by not making minors the main subject of our recordings or only if their parent or guardian consents to their participation; in such cases, the data of the participating minors will be processed based on the agreement reached between the parent or guardian and AP.
