Code of Ethics
Introduction
Antwerppride.com is the digital platform of Antwerp Pride vzw, with its registered office at Draakplaats 1, 2018 Antwerp. This digital platform is referred to in this Code of Ethics as “this Website” or “the Site”.
The term “AP Network” refers to Antwerp Pride vzw, its affiliated organizations, and its associated entities.
Antwerp Pride vzw is the entity within the AP network that manages this Website and is hereinafter referred to as “Antwerp Pride,” “AP,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” Although parts of this Code of Ethics may refer to other entities within the AP network, this Code of Ethics applies exclusively between you and us, and not between you and those other entities.
This Code of Ethics may be supplemented or amended from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the revision date listed above. The updated or amended version will take effect as of that revision date. We encourage you to review this Code of Ethics regularly so that you are always aware of how we uphold our principles and values.

1. Rights of the LGBTQI+ community
We are actively committed to equal rights and equal treatment for LGBTQIA+ individuals in Belgium and around the world.
We actively combat all forms of discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, sex characteristics, or gender expression.
We expressly oppose homophobia, lesbophobia, biphobia, transphobia, intersexphobia, and serophobia.
2. Public Education
We contribute to preserving, passing on, and strengthening Belgian and European civil society.
We are committed to helping build and defend this society as a democratic space where freedom, equality, and respect are central.
3. Support for the democratic rule of law
We are committed to preserving, promoting, and strengthening Belgian and European civil society, and we contribute to building and protecting the democratic rule of law as the foundation of our society.
4. Building bridges and fostering acceptance
We build and strengthen relationships within a society that is often characterized by fragmentation and conflicting interests.
We strive for connection, mutual understanding, and inclusion.
5. Organization of initiatives
The organization and/or support of cultural, educational, activist, and sports initiatives is always carried out with a positive, solution-oriented, and inclusive approach, with special attention and empathy for minorities and groups at risk of marginalization.
6. Antwerp Pride
We actively contribute to the communication, support, and promotion of Antwerp Pride and its annual theme.
7. Human Rights
The undersigned refers in general terms to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and expressly rejects any form of discrimination on the grounds described in Belgian anti-discrimination legislation, including, among others:
nationality, alleged or actual descent, skin color, origin, ethnic background, age, sex, disability, religion or belief, marital status, birth, financial status, political opinion, current or future health status, physical or genetic characteristics, social background, gender identity, gender expression, sex, language, or trade union affiliation.
8. Acceptance and Termination
By agreeing to these terms and confirming that you, your organization, event, competition, or project complies with this Code of Ethics, you commit to adhering to the principles outlined above and actively promoting them.
If Antwerp Pride vzw determines that you are not adhering to or actively promoting these principles, AP reserves the right to terminate the partnership immediately and to communicate this both internally and externally.
Such termination does not entitle you to recover any costs already incurred from Antwerp Pride vzw.
Antwerp Pride vzw is also not liable for any damages or other obligations, regardless of the legal basis, arising from the collaboration, its termination, communication regarding the termination, or any related circumstances.
